  • Visual description of one explorative concept choosed by the opinions of users.
  • Survey "concept test" with three alternatives used to know the opinions of target users.
  • Short description of the process used to test the concept with target users.
I have send via email the image above (that represents the concept sketches and prototypes for the three designs that performed best during the selection matrix) to several friends who would be target users of the product.

The main question was:
If you were choosing a transformable object for carrying everyday objects in a more functional, confortable and stylish way, which of the following would you be most likely to purchase?

Followed by the questions:
What do you like or dislike about these prototypes concepts? What do you suggest for improvements?
  • Conclusions from the testing.
The majority of surveyed users have chosen the prototype E#5 "adaptabledivaded" although they emphasized the originality of the proposal of the prototype J#10. In conclusion the users suggest to explore the possible ways to combine and enhance many of the characteristics of the prototypes such as the transformability of a single item in several, or an element in a possible skirt or wide belt.
